So I've noticed that all the people fillling out applications for Fiica Singe memmbers have kind of elft out the part where they actually become a Fiica Singe. So now I'm going to tell you, and please add this (IN YOUR OWN WORDS!!!!!) to the end of your histroy:
Girls who are selected by Sekhmet are usually an only child and have at least one parent or close family member who has died. First the goddess visits them in a dream. Then the oldest girl (the Preoteasã) pays her a visit, and gives a sort of test. The test varies from girl to girl- intelligence, wit, logic, etc. If she passes, she is asked to go to the Clãdire (the sacred home temple of the Fiica Singe) where she is given the final choice. If she decides to become a Fiica Singe, she loses all the memories of her past life. However, many girls regain most of their memories. If she chooses to decline, her memories of the incident are erased.
Those girls who agree to be initiated into the Fiica Singe are put through a thirteen day cleansing period, where they are taught everything they need to know about Sekhmet and the Fiica Singe. Then they are stripped of their human skin, and instead assume the form of a goddess-like creature. They are given their powers three days after assuming their new skin.

Shape of Amulet: Peony (has the meaning of healing. ^^)
Residence: Miruna lives with the other members of the Fiica Sînge
Appearance: Miruna is beautiful. Her hair is dark as a crow's wing and is smooth and silky. Her hair is wavy and has some dark brown high lights in it. Her eyes are a deep blue, with a little green in them. They have an almond sort of shape. Her lips are a pouty shape. Although, they may even look thin, at times. Her eyebrows are perfectly arched and her cheekbones are a little high. Miruna has long, and soft eyelashes. Miruna stands about 5 feet 10 inches.
Attire: Miruna usually wears slightly darker colors, although, she can wear soft pastel colored clothing too. She prefers jeans, pants over skirts and doesn't really like tank tops much. At times, she may dress up. On special occasions she wears long skirts and long dresses that go either up to her knees or up to her ankles. She likes to wear dark green clothing.
Personality: Miruna is a cold person. She doesn't really talk to many people. She only talks to those she knows. She is intelligent and cunning. Miruna is calculating. Sometimes, on one of her good days, she acts nice and friendly. She doesn't talk to those who annoy her. Miruna tends to ignore people at times, and tends to daydream. She's usually with her best friend, Sabina. On her bad days, Miruna is sarcastic and doesn't bother talking to anyone. But, is she has to answer, she usually just says an 'mnm-hm'.
Beliefs – personal and political: Miruna believes the political issues that are happening now and the issues before were silly and there was no need for them. She also believes that others should feel pain when they cause someone else extreme pain, either emotionally or physically and sometimes both. She believes strongly in the Egyptian Goddess Sehkmet and the others gods and goddesses.
Fears: Miruna fears of when people leave her once again, like in her past. She fears that someone else, outside of the Fiica Sînge finds out about her past. She fears that somehow, her past might come back.
Likes: Miruna likes to use a computer. She likes reading, being left alone at times and she likes to write, mainly novel long. She likes to watch people when the people she causes pain suffers.
Dislikes: She doesn't like it when someone else hurts another for unknown reasons. She doesn't like smelly places, very perky people, and people who use weapons
Quirks: Miruna can snort at unknown times, sometimes
Inventory: Her books, her laptop, her amulet and her clothes and other random stuff
Strengths: Physical: She is strong, fast, she can use her power, and her beauty. Mental: She is intelligent, has charisma, and is best around computers.
Weaknesses: She can't stand to be around people who abuse others, both verbally and physically. It gets her angry easily and she starts using her gift at the person, until she thinks they've had enough.
Goal: To rid the world of the people that hurt others, even though she knows that, that is impossible.
Lover: Chad Thurman, he is her boyfriend.

History: Miruna's past was a painful. When she was young, her father used to abuse her mother, and her. Once, Miruna's mother called the police, and so they got into a trial. Her father faked everything. "I'm sorry." he would say. "I'll never do it again, I promise."
Fake tears, fake words, fake love. And so one day, Miruna had boldly asked her father, "Why did you marry mum when you hurt her?" Her father got angry easily. Once again, the usual things happened. His father hurt her, her mother got involved, and her brother stood there. Finally, when Miruna was finally fifteen years old, her father had gotten a heart attack. He survived. The beatings hurt less, but still it happened.
Miruna couldn't take it any longer. She began to wish that her father would die. She wished he would die painfully. Painfully as how he treated his family. She wished this would happen every single day. Every night, every time she would come home, she would wish her father would die. Eventually, two weeks later, he finally died. He had died in a car accident. Miruna was happy, but yet she filled horrible for what she had done. No one seemed to cry at the funeral.
She felt as if she had to tell someone. She told her mother. Her mother understood. At the same time, her mother felt overjoyed and depressed. Miruna's mother loved her husband and yet hated him. Her mother wanted to embrace him, but wanted to hurt him. Eventually, her mother turned mad. Miruna then lived through that routine.
And so, her life went through this everyday. Miruna was the only child in her family and her mother was the only parent. But one strange night Miruna had the strangest dream. A woman, beautiful seemed to tell her about something. Miruna could not understand, but she felt as if she knew what the woman meant. The next day, she met this girl, she did not know her. And so, Murina was given a test of some sort.And for the test, she passed.
Since that day she had passed her test, she was asked to go to this place. A place whom the girl called the Clãdire. Miruna was given a choice. She thought about this choice in her head multiple of times, not knowing what she should say or not. And so, Miruna had decided to accept her new fate. Later, Miruna lost all of her human memories and she had gotten a new start on life. Miruna was put through many things. She was stripped of her human skin, which felt very painful. When she had gotten her new skin, she was already someone else. And three days later, Miruna had gotten her power.
And so, now Miruna begins her new life in a different place and in a different time. She is a Fiica Sînge.
Writing Sample: Miruna looked at her room. It was empty, except for a few furnishings and some boxes full of her belongings. She sighed. She thought that it was a little too empty and began to take out everything in the boxes. A lamp, a a pillow, some books, some more books and her favorite new laptop. She smiled when she took it out. It was orange and a slight ivory color that blended well in the orange. She turned it on for no apparent reason and took everything else out. As she places the lamp on the dresser, the laptop made a slight beep as to show it was starting up. She smiled and put everything else away.
Miruna looked at the window on one of the side walls. She actually liked the way the room was designed. She felt as if it was made just for her. She slightly smiled and opened the window and the cool breeze rushed in to fill the room. She sat down in one of the chairs and sat there, wondering about how she wanted her room to look like. She fingered her amulet. The peony shape was just perfect for her. It matched her personality... well... almost. She plopped onto her bed and then had finally realized that she forgot to put the bed sheets on. But she decided to do that for later. As she wanted to go on her laptop.

Full Name: 'Chloe' Athena Nista Vardalos
Age: 16, Junior
Gender: Female
Date of Birth: May 25
Residence: Vardalos residence, big house down the street with Greek statues and pillars decorating the front lawn.
Appearance: Chloe has blue eyes, they are almond shaped and tinted with a bit of green around the pupils. Her eyelashes are semi-long, hidden lightly by faint, brown eyebrows. She, also, has long, middle of the back length, brown hair that she oftens lets hang loose or lightly curls.
Chloe is of a petite build, around average weight for her height, 5'6". Chloe holds herself up very tall, she loves to learn about cultures and languages and different people. She has a small-ish nose and an average forehead. During the summer, she has freckles on her cheeks.
Attire: Chloe wears hip-hugger jeans with bell-bottoms and cute little patches and other decorations. She wears cute shirts, normally something moderately hip and trendy, she buys from big brand stores in the local mall. However, when around her house, Chloe wears dresses, normally skirts that hang past her knees and from time to time, mostly on holidays, she wears traditional Greek dresses.
Personality: Chloe is a fun-loving, smart girl who enjoys the company of others. Chloe loves to learn, she speaks English fluently around her friends and Greek fluently at home, from time to time and over phones. She loves to be away from home and tries her hardest to keep her family out of anything with her social life.
Chloe is mainly an extrovert, and when she's not feeling up to it, she loves to people-watch. Chloe also dances, she takes ballet classes and is part of the school swim team. She loves to be doing something and hates sitting around. Around people she doesn't know, Chloe is able to be as polite as possible, often coming off as overly polite.
Beliefs – personal and political: Chloe is slightly political, mainly concerned over international affairs of state. She believes in the Christian faith, and attends the Greek Orthodox Church dutifully every Sunday before her ballet class. The belief in the ancient Greek myths are inbred into her, however the gods are saints that are very respected.
Fears: Chloe fears the loss of her individuality. As much as she hates to admit it, she loves her family and all the odd, quirky things they do. She fears becoming just another person in the boring life of Americans.
Likes: Chloe likes to dance and swim. She loves classical music, as well as other older kinds, such as the waltz, jazz, and swing. She loves to be talking to others, and will always be on her way to a friend's house or the swimming pool or dance floor.
Dislikes: Chloe doesn't like attention being drawn to her about her odd family. She hates her last name, her house, and the odd things her parents say to her friends, not to mention her insane grandmother who still thinks the Truks are evil.
Quirks: Chloe is Greek, she knows about the culture, the language, the gods, and the customs. At home she is semi-forced to participate in it all. She likes to dance off stress and if she is angry will storm out of a room and to the local swimming pool.
Inventory: Chloe owns a talisman meant to represent Pallas Athena, her patron saint and goddess. She hides it in the right pocket of her jeans and grabs a hold of it every once in a while, when she needs reassurance and comfort.
Strengths: Chloe is strongest when talking about something she knows, Greek culture, Ballet, swimming, Swing, Ballroom dancing, Greek cooking, whatever it is, she can captivate an audience. She loves to further her knowledge on cultures and art.
Weaknesses: Chloe hates and will refuse to retain any math or sceince information over a summer. She forgets more technical subjects and hates to be confined to thinking logically, her brain doesn't work that way, it's more abstract.
Goal: Chloe just wants to live a 'normal' life and make a difference in it. She believes that beauty will remain and tries her hardest to become something important in the artistic world.

History: Chloe was born only two years after her parents had relocated her family, including her grandmother, sister Selene, and brother Nicholas. She was originally named Athena Nista Vardalos, however, when she started school at five, she insisted on the name Chloe, from one of her favorite books. Her family still calls her Athena, however.
Chloe has grown up, balancing two worlds. Her crazy, Greek life, complete with baptisms, holidays, gossiping cousins, invasive second cousins, ethnic centric parents, and an insane grandmother. Her normal, American life, ballet, swimming lessons, dance competitions, school, friends. She has learned to balance this all very well, except the ability to keep her friends away from her parents. She has learned to keep them at school and the mall, no where near home, after losing some good friends.
Writing Sample: "Athena! What are you doing there, eat!" Chloe looked up at her mother, she was the big boned, dark haired, Greek woman both Chloe and her older sister Selene were supposed to be. "Eat, you'll never attract a Greek man with no meat on your bones."
Chloe sighed and picked up her sthingy. She began to play with her bowl of oatmeal. She wasn't going to tell her mom she didn't want to be any bigger, or that she worked out to condition her body for ballet and swim. She glanced up at the clock and smiled. "I have to run, I'll eat later, Ma." She dashed for the front door, pulling her dancebag and purse along after her.
She closed the door on her mother's protest and opened her eyes, to see her freedom. She squealed with fright for a second, her insane grandmother had jumped from the bushes with a knife in her hand. "ãéáãéÜ Hera! ù êáëïóýíç , áõôü åßíáé ìüëés*."
"èåÜ ÁèÞíá? ðñïóôáôåýù åìÝíá áðü åêåßíïé Ôïýñêïò.**" Chloe rolled her eyes at her grandmother's response and pushed her through the the door gently. She took off down the street, jogging to the bus stop.

First off, welcome to the site! I'm so glad to have a fellow Fiica Singe here! Now down to business.... I've noticed a few problems with your application. Mostly just misunderstandings I think. First af all, all of the Fiica Singe are tall and thin, minimum hieght of maybe 5'10". The tallest can be up to 6'. For your belieffs, Anca would only believe in Sekhmet and the other Egyptian gods. The type of creature that the girls are is called a 'štriga'. In strengths, you need to mention her power. It's a strength, is it not? How does she use it, and how does it make her more powerful? And lastly, she would not be able to do magic, because it does not exist. And for her history, I'll post mine soon so you can read about the transformation and entry practices for the Fiica Singe. Thanks!

Residence: With the other Fiicã Sînge in an orphanage/girl's home.
Appearance: Anca is a very pretty girl. She has clear, blue eyes with definant, long lashes. Her lashes make her eyes stand out, almost hypnotically. Her eyebrows are thin and are not very far above her beautiful blue eyes. Her nose is average sized, and her forehead is not too long but not extremely short.
Anca has blonde hair that reaches just past her shoulders. She often flattens it, although it is naturally curly and she will wear it like that from time to time. Anca is very petite, around five foot eleven inches. She holds herself straight when around strangers and in new places, but she slouches when she reads and sits in chairs.
Attire: Anca normally wears more conservative clothing, but she likes to wear nicer, trendy outfits. She likes to wear cute, noraml jeans and sweater or jacket tops over short sleeved shirts and tank tops in lighter colors. But she likes to dress up, and will not protest to allowing more make-up savvy girls paint her up and twirl her hair into fancy updos.
Personality: Anca tries to be the best person she can be and tries to make everyone happy with her. She hates to see someone upset with her and will often do something special just to make them feel better. She likes to write and read a lot, research certain things as well, and this has gotten her into the habit of doing others homework for them. Anca is more of an introvert and would hate to let anyone know they hurt her, because she wants them to be unsuspecting when her revenge happens.
Anca likes revenge, although she enjoys being a little bit more quiet and kind hearted, if she is hurt, she will hurt back. Around strangers, she is the most polite she could possibly be. She collects a lot of data about those around her and writes it down, keeping files in her computers about them, incase she is ever hurt.
Beliefs – personal and political: Anca believes in looking both to the past and the future, if she were asked to label herself, she would say she is a conservative. She believes in many gods, the Egyptian gods. Anca is a pagan.
Fears: Anca fears having her knowledge taken away or drained slowly. She is deathly afraid of not being able to learn anything more, part of the reason she began the occult, it provided her study. She also fears letting someone's expectations of her go away and tries her hardest to please everyone around her.
Likes: Anca likes reading, writing, and researching. She also enjoys revenge to no end. She always wants others to be happy with her and likes to be around other people, to watch them.
Dislikes: Anca doesn't like being hurt, nor does she like being underestimated as just another person with no particular skills but being smart and ultra kind.
Quirks: Anca often wants to study, she loves to read and reads about any religious beleif she can get her hands onto, but mainly about paganism. She bits her lower lip when researching, and if she is truly taking all she has to ponder something, which does not often happen at school. When she is or sees others get hurt, mainly by a boy, she will take all her energies into plotting his demise, whether she tries to follow through or not depends on if he hurt her or one of her close friends or sisters.
Inventory: Anca loves her laptop, she had to save forever to get. She also prizes her library, the large amount of books she was given for gifts, bought herself, and totted along with her. Likewise, the local library and bookstores are where she loves to hang out at and from time to time will have saved enough money to buy herself another book or computer installment.
Strengths: Anca is strongest when she is sitting in the classroom, behind a computer, watching others, or hidden in a book. She loves a challenge and loves to research anything. When she is hurt she is at her strongest, putting together research on certain aspects of a person's life and how to get to them, it is probably something she enjoys the most. She is also able to see the pasts of others at their touch, which gives her knowledge about who they are and powers to possibly predict how they will act in the future.
Weaknesses: Anca tries to please others too much, and often finds herself doing homework for others. She also has a problem forgiving once she is hurt, and will do anything she can, calculated of course, to get her venagce.
Goal: Anca just wants to make everyone happy and bring justice to those who don't deserve to be happy.
Lover: None as of now.

History: Anca was born in Los Angelus and lived there for quite a while with her mom and dad. Her first words were 'Dada' as he left the house and her mom wept. Anca never was told what had happened, she became just another girl living in L.A. with a single mom. Anca grew up with little to do but go to school and come home to an empty house, her mom worked late hours.
When Anca was ten, she was first allowed to spend the night at a friend's house, that was when she saw her friend's mom and dad, this shocked Anca. When she asked her mom why she didn't have a dad, she was turned away as her mom tried to hide her crying from her daughter. Eventually, she was able to begin researching what had happened, she talked to long-time neighbors, hunted through the attic for marriage certificates, and found her mom's divorce certificate. Anca began searching for her father and wasn't able to find him.
When her 16th birthday came around, Anca opened the door to a stranger and later found out it was her father. She left for the store, to buy ice cream, and came back to a house on fire. Anca ran into the flaming house to save her mom, but couldn't see anything in the smoke and was lucky to find her way out. Then she sent to live with the other girls, and offered the gift to see people's past by the Egyptian Goddess Sehkmet.
Writing Sample: ((I know this is boring, but it's because I couldn't think of anything interesting at the moment. I'll change it if you want me to.)) Anca pushed her heavy cardboard box of books into her room. She shut the door behind her and sighed in relief, a new home, a new family, a new town, and a new ability. She looked at her box of books and bent to begin opening it. Right on top sat her laptop, held up by her numerous books, candles, and symbols for magick.
She picked the laptop up first and blew on it softly, to remove the soft layer of dust. "Hey Night." She said, talking to her laptop like a person. "We live here now, we'll just have to see if we fit in or not." She placed the laptop on the bed and began to remove her books and magick objects. Then Anca stood up and dusted off her hands. She walked down the hall, looking for a drink when she saw all the girls she was living with walking around, some were already talking. They were beyond beautiful, they were magnificent.

Here are the basic rules for this forum. Please follow them completely. Rules that are marked by a ** mean that if you break that rule, you will be banned from this forum.
~Be Unique: Create your own character -- do not copy someone else's. If you wish to portray a character from the registry, please PM me and ask permission.
~Accuracy: We strive for accuracy here -- always make your posts 100% accurate with the plot. If you don't know, research it or PM me.
~Remember the place we're talking about here, so try and stay by it.
~Do not join a thread that is already more than a page long, unless you have been invited to by one of the participating members. After the first page or two, the thread takes on a definite feel -- exactly what direction it's going in. Another person joining on the ninth page destroys that. Also, if the title says specifically "so-and so only", that means they want to role-play with so-and-so, and with only so-and-so! If you're not so-and-so, don't join. Even if it is the first page.
